Prophet Jimmy Urges Ghanaians To Keep Praying For The Nation And Its Leaders

Ghanaian preacher Prophet Jimmy Alla-Mensah, founder and leader of the House of Divine Glory Ministry International, has called on citizens to continue praying for Ghana, its leadership and the country’s future, especially after recent events involving top government officials. He stressed the need for persistent spiritual support for the nation’s stability and wellbeing.

Prophet Jimmy spoke about a spiritual revelation he said he received on December 17, 2025, which warned of a period described as “Black Thursday” involving senior government figures. Though details of the vision were not elaborated on publicly, he used it to underscore the importance of intercessory prayer and vigilance for Ghana’s leaders and national direction.

His remarks came amid public attention on a road accident involving two ministers who survived a serious crash en route to a regional engagement. Prophet Jimmy referenced this incident as another reason Ghana needs ongoing spiritual covering and support from believers. He said that those who watch over the nation in prayer are fulfilling a vital role and must remain steadfast in lifting up the country and its leaders before God.

Prophet Jimmy’s message resonated with many followers on social media, where users expressed support for his emphasis on collective prayer and national unity in challenging times. The preacher reiterated that the spiritual wellbeing of the nation has real implications for peace, progress and the security of all citizens, and that prayer is a key avenue through which believers can contribute to those outcomes.

He also encouraged Christians and people of all faiths to put aside differences and join together in praying for the leadership of Ghana and for the safety and protection of the country as a whole. This call reflects a broader trend among religious leaders in the country who emphasise prayer as an anchor during times of uncertainty or stress.
