Mzbel Claims Some Pastors Use Aphrodisiacs and Blackmail Fellow Clergy

Ghanaian musician Mzbel has made serious claims that some pastors engage in unethical behaviour, including using aphrodisiacs and then threatening to expose others in ministry. She shared these allegations during an interview, saying such conduct is harming the reputation of Christian leaders.

Mzbel expressed concern that a number of pastors are involved in inappropriate acts and then leverage information against others. She said this creates a culture of secrecy and manipulation within some religious circles, and that such actions are unacceptable for people in spiritual leadership.

According to Mzbel, she made the comments after observing patterns she believes are widespread. The musician stated that the issue needs to be addressed openly because it damages the credibility of legitimate church leaders and hurts the faith of believers.

Her remarks have generated reactions on social media, with some people agreeing that accountability is needed in religious leadership, while others have urged caution and called for evidence before making public accusations.

Mzbel emphasised that her intention is not to target all pastors. She clarified that she believes many pastors serve with integrity but that leaders who engage in misconduct must be held responsible in order to protect the church and its members.

The discussion has reignited conversations around accountability, transparency and moral conduct among religious leaders in Ghana.
