Dr Richard Asiedu Appointed President General Of Eminent West Africa Nobles Forum

Renowned Ghanaian educationist, businessman and politician Dr Richard Asiedu has been named the new President General of the Eminent West Africa Nobles Forum (E-WANF), a prominent sub-regional think tank that brings together influential leaders to discuss solutions to West African challenges.
Dr Asiedu succeeds Nana (Dr) Appiagyei Dankawoso I, the immediate past leader of the Forum, continuing a tradition of experienced leadership for the organisation. He has been a member of E-WANF since 2016 and previously served as Vice President, gaining respect for his work in education, business and community development.
As President General, Dr Asiedu is expected to provide strategic direction and strengthen the Forum’s influence across West Africa. The group is modelled on institutions like the Philosophical Society of America and is known for uniting statesmen, academics, professionals and public servants from across the sub-region to deliberate on socio-economic issues.
Dr Asiedu currently chairs the Board of the Ghana Integrated Iron and Steel Development Corporation (GIISDC) and leads several educational initiatives through the St Andrews Group of Schools and Companies, which includes training institutions and community development programmes. His efforts extend to creating job opportunities and expanding access to education, especially in rural areas.
Academically, he holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Human Resource Management and other advanced degrees, reinforcing his expertise in mentoring and leadership development. Under his leadership, E-WANF hopes to further drive meaningful dialogue and policy ideas that can advance peace, prosperity and governance across West Africa.
