Rev. Obofour Denies Killing His Children, Introduces Them to Church Congregation

Ghanaian pastor Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah, popularly known as Rev. Obofour, has publicly denied claims that he was responsible for the death of his eldest children, while presenting them to members of his church.
During a recent service, Rev. Obofour addressed rumours circulating online and in some media about the tragic passing of his children several years ago. In a firm and emotional message to his congregation, he insisted that the allegations suggesting he had any role in their deaths are false and untrue.
Rev. Obofour then introduced his remaining children to the worshippers, showing them on stage in front of the church. By doing this, he aimed to reassure his followers and the public that his family is alive and well, and to dispel misinformation that had been spreading.
He emphasised that the loss of his children was a painful experience for him and his family, but he made it clear that the idea he could harm them was “completely unfounded.” The pastor thanked members of the congregation for their support and prayers during difficult times.
The pastor also urged the public and the media to avoid sharing unverified information about personal family matters, noting that such rumours can cause emotional harm and spread unnecessary fear. He highlighted the importance of compassion and respect when discussing sensitive issues that affect families.
Rev. Obofour’s church service was reportedly filled with messages of faith, healing, and unity, with many members expressing support for the pastor after his statement.
His appearance with his children was shared widely on social media, where reactions from followers and online users were mixed — some expressed relief and support, while others raised questions about how rumours began.
Cases involving public figures and personal tragedies can quickly become the subject of speculation, especially on social media platforms. Experts often remind users to be cautious about the reliability of online claims and to respect people’s privacy when reporting or discussing sensitive events.
As of now, there has been no official evidence released supporting the claim that Rev. Obofour was involved in any wrongdoing related to his children’s deaths. The pastor continues to lead his ministry and engage with members of his community.
